Role Overview: As a Sales Order Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of customer sales orders. You will be responsible for coordinating with various internal teams to streamline the order fulfillment process and enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Verify customer sales orders for accuracy, material availability, and adherence to internal processes. - Monitor and review pending/back orders to minimize backlog. - Draft and send emails to customers for order amendments, confirmations, and updates on material availability or delivery schedules. - Coordinate inter-plant or warehouse stock transfers to meet urgent or pending customer requirements. - Liaise with the purchase team to expedite procurement of materials that are short or urgently needed. - Track, maintain, and improve On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance metrics to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. - Maintain and update customer schedule agreements and plan dispatches according to customer timelines. - Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to material issues, delays, or quality concerns in collaboration with relevant departments. Qualification Required: - Strong knowledge of inventory and order management systems, with SAP knowledge preferred. - Effective communication and coordination skills. - Proactive approach to follow-ups and stakeholder management. - Attention to detail and a problem-solving attitude. - Proficiency in MS Excel, email writing, and ERP tools.
