Thumbnail Designer based in Pune

We are seeking a talented Graphics Designer to join our media business in Pune. This full-time in-office position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and contribute to our diverse range of online publications, social media and YouTube channels. As a Graphics Designer, your primary focus will be creating visually stunning YouTube thumbnails and various other media assets as needed. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the content production team to understand the essence of the videos for YouTube thumbnails and other media assets
• Design captivating and visually appealing YouTube thumbnails that attract viewers' attention and accurately represent the content
• Study the click-through rates (CTR) of the thumbnails, analyzing their performance and deriving actionable insights
• Incorporate the insights gained from CTR analysis into your designs to optimize the visual appeal and clickability of the thumbnails
• Create engaging graphics and illustrations that align with the channel’s brand identity and enhance the visual impact
• Maintain a strong understanding of current design trends and apply them creatively to elevate the quality and aesthetics of the content
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs while adhering to project deadlines
• Work closely with the marketing team to design promotional materials, banners, and visuals for social media platforms
• Collaborate with the video editing team to ensure seamless integration of graphics into the video content
• Provide creative input and ideas to enhance the overall visual appeal and user experience of our media platforms

Ideal Skill Set:

• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant tools
• A strong portfolio showcasing your skills in creating visually appealing designs, preferably including YouTube thumbnails and media assets.
• Excellent creativity and an eye for detail, with the ability to translate ideas into visually stunning designs
• Strong understanding of design principles, including color theory, composition, and typography
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with the content production and marketing teams.
• Familiarity with YouTube and social media platforms, their design requirements, and best practices.
• A proactive approach to staying updated with industry trends and design techniques.
