As a Graphics Designer at our media business in Pune, you will have the exciting opportunity to unleash your creativity and contribute to a wide range of online publications, social media, and YouTube channels. Your main focus will be on creating visually stunning YouTube thumbnails and various other media assets as required. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the content production team to grasp the essence of the videos for YouTube thumbnails and other media assets. You will design captivating thumbnails that not only attract viewers" attention but also accurately represent the content. Analyzing the click-through rates (CTR) of the thumbnails, you will derive actionable insights and incorporate them into your designs to optimize visual appeal and clickability. Additionally, you will create engaging graphics and illustrations that align with the brand identity of the channels, enhancing the overall visual impact. Staying updated with current design trends, you will creatively apply them to elevate the quality and aesthetics of the content. Timely delivery of high-quality designs while meeting project deadlines is crucial. Collaboration with the marketing team for designing promotional materials and visuals for social media platforms, as well as with the video editing team for seamless integration of graphics into video content, is essential. Your ideal skill set should include proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant tools. A strong portfolio showcasing your skills in creating visually appealing designs, particularly YouTube thumbnails and media assets, is required. You should possess excellent creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to translate ideas into visually stunning designs. Understanding of design principles, color theory, composition, and typography is important. Working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and effective communication skills for collaboration with the content production and marketing teams are necessary. Familiarity with YouTube and social media platforms, their design requirements, and best practices is an added advantage. A proactive approach to staying updated with industry trends and design techniques is preferred.
