Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Academic Counselor with a specialization in Zoology to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding and supporting students in their academic journey, especially those pursuing studies in the biology and zoology domains . She should be passionate about education, capable of explaining subject-related queries, and helping students choose the right learning resources at Vidyakul. Key Responsibilities: Counsel and assist students in understanding the concepts of Zoology and other biological sciences. Guide students in selecting the right academic courses and study plans based on their educational background and goals. Provide academic support and motivation to students to help them perform better in exams like NEET and board exams. Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions and follow-up for student engagement. Collaborate with subject experts and content creators to give feedback on course material. Maintain detailed records of student queries, interactions, and progress reports. Stay updated with the latest trends in Zoology education, competitive exams, and syllabus changes. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge in Zoology, biology, and life sciences . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for teaching and mentoring students. Ability to empathize and build rapport with students and parents. HR Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and updated employee records, contracts, and HR-related documentation Prepare HR letters, offer letters, relieving letters, experience certificates, NDAs, etc. Ensure documentation meets legal, audit, and compliance standards Maintain filing systems (physical and digital) in an organized and secure manner 2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manage the hiring process including job postings, shortlisting, interviews, and selection Ensure all recruitment and onboarding documentation is completed accurately and timely 3. HR Policies & SOPs Draft, review, and update HR policies and SOPs in line with company culture and labor laws Ensure all employees are aware of and comply with HR policies and code of conduct 4. Payroll Coordination Collaborate with the Finance team for accurate payroll processing Maintain and verify attendance records, leaves, and salary components 5. Performance & Employee Records Management Document performance review processes and appraisal records Maintain a clear record of employee warnings, notices, and disciplinary actions, if any 6.
