Job Description

we have an opening for a Feature 3D Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

Unifimedia is expanding our current VFX pipeline to encompass greater opportunities for Film, episodic, and commercial work.

Unifimedia is seeking an accomplished Nuke Compositor to blaze the trail with our team and utilize your expert Nuke skills and creativity to execute photo-realistic compositing for feature films and episodic projects.

Creates high quality digital composites and visual effects for feature films and television
Follows the creative direction from VFX Supervisors to executes assigned shots.
Seamless integration of assets and CGI sources into live-action using standard compositing techniques.
Ability to work on complex and demanding shots and problem-solve creatively.
Proficient in using 2.5d approaches, projections, tracking and using 3D environment within Nuke.
Works in partnership with creative team to ensure shots are delivered to the very highest standard.
Effective organizational and time management skills to meet schedules.
Maintain overall look, colour balance, and quality of assigned shots and sequences to ensure uniformity in all completed work.
Photo-real compositing experience in live action VFX.

Job Qualifications:

2+ years of relevant work experience; television/feature film work, an asset.
Degree/diploma in relevant field an asset.
Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Experience in the VR space is highly preferred.
Keen eye for photo-real integration of 2D and 3D/CG elements into live-action plates.
A full understanding of colour space and Luts for VFX pipeline.
Strong knowledge of Nuke compositing Experience using multi-pass CG elements
Working knowledge of overall VFX Pipeline.
Strong artistic skills
Knowledge of lenses, cameras, and plate acquisition .
Capable navigating a Windows/Linux environment.
Experience with other VFX software, an asset: PFtrack, after effects, Shotgun, Photoshop, silhouette, fusion, etc.
Python/TCL Programming and coding experience is a plus
