Description

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our PostgreSQL database systems, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.

Location:Bangalore,Noida,Hyderabad,Chennai,Mumbai

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain PostgreSQL database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies.
Perform regular database backups and recovery operations.
Develop and implement database security policies and procedures.
Collaborate with application developers to design and optimize database schemas.
Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
Conduct regular database health checks and maintenance tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

3-11 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture and internals.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and scripts.
Experience with database backup and recovery techniques.
Familiarity with database monitoring tools and performance tuning.
Understanding of database security best practices.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
