Job Summary: The Pharmacist Aide will assist licensed pharmacists in the preparation, distribution, and inventory of medications. They will help maintain the pharmacy's day-to-day operations and ensure timely and accurate support for both patients and staff, while adhering to healthcare regulations and hospital policies. Key Responsibilities: Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. Accurately label and package prescribed medicines. Maintain stock of medications and supplies; assist in inventory management. Ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals as per guidelines. Receive and arrange medicines and supplies as per storage protocols. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pharmacy area. Assist in documentation and record-keeping tasks. Help answer basic patient inquiries and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist. Comply with all safety, hygiene, and regulatory guidelines. Perform other support tasks as assigned by the pharmacist or supervisor. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum: 10+2 or equivalent qualification; D.Pharm preferred. Previous experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy is an advantage. Basic knowledge of medicines and medical terminology. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
