In this context, we would be interested in recruiting suitable candidates for the position of TGT2 Social Science teacher for Classes 910 to teach subjects such as History, Geography, Civics/Economics. The teacher will help students understand social, historical and civic concepts, build awareness of society and environment, and encourage critical thinking and responsible citizenship.

Educational Qualification

Bachelors degree in Social Science / Humanities with a combination of at least two subjects among History, Geography, Economics, Political Science (one
Professional teaching qualification: B.Ed. (or equivalent recognized teaching certificate).
Knowledge on current affairs

Roles Responsibilities

Plan and deliver Social Science lessons (history, geography, civics/economics) for Classes 68, in line with school/board syllabus.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments/projects and conduct assessments (tests, quizzes, assignments).
Evaluate student performance, identify learning gaps, and provide remedial support or guidance to students as needed.
Maintain class records of attendance, performance and progress.
Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages discussion, participation and critical thinking.
Collaborate with other teachers and school staff for curriculum planning, cocurricular activities, and overall academic coordination.
