This involves preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, conducting discussions, assigning homework, and assessing student performance. Curriculum development: TGT Social Science teachers may be involved in developing and reviewing the school's curriculum in their subject area. They may work with other teachers and administrators to ensure that the curriculum is up-to-date, meets educational standards, and reflects the needs of the students. Student supervision: TGT Social Science teachers are responsible for supervising students in and outside of the classroom. This includes maintaining order and discipline, monitoring student behavior, and responding to student needs and concerns. Assessment and evaluation: TGT Social Science teachers are responsible for assessing and evaluating student performance. This includes creating and administering exams, grading assignments, and providing feedback to students and parents. Professional development: TGT Social Science teachers may be expected to participate in professional development activities, such as attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions. They may also be required to keep up-to-date with developments in their subject area and in teaching methods. Classroom management: TGT Social Science teachers are responsible for maintaining a safe and productive learning environment in their classroom.
