TGT- Social Science for classes 6&7

Title: TGT Social Science Teacher – Classes 6 & 7

Experience Required: 2–5 years (preferably in middle school CBSE)

Educational Qualification: B.A. / M.A. in History, Geography, Political Science or related fields + B.Ed. (Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Social Science subjects (History, Civics, Geography) for Classes 6 and 7 as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and curiosity about social systems and human history.
• Use a variety of teaching aids (maps, timelines, digital resources, storytelling) to enhance understanding and participation.
• Prepare and evaluate formative and summative assessments, classwork, projects, and assignments.
• Maintain accurate academic records and prepare report cards as per school timelines.
• Encourage group discussions, debates, and project-based learning for deeper understanding.

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, and Civics (Middle School level).
• Good command of English and effective communication skills.
• Ability to make lessons interactive, relevant, and inquiry-driven.
• Classroom management skills and ability to cater to diverse learners.
• Familiarity with CBSE academic structure and assessment methodology.
• Basic proficiency in using digital tools for teaching and content delivery

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
