Job Purpose: To teach Mathematics to students of middle and secondary school (Grades 6–10), fostering a love for numbers, logical reasoning, and problem-solving while ensuring the academic excellence of the learners. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and structured Mathematics lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum. Develop and implement lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments. Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including periodic tests and board-related assessments. Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources, including digital tools, to meet students' diverse learning needs. Monitor and evaluate students' progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents. Maintain student discipline in the classroom and during other school activities. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, school events, and parent-teacher conferences. Maintain records such as attendance, grades, and performance reports. Collaborate with fellow teachers for interdisciplinary projects and curriculum planning. Encourage student participation in Mathematics-related competitions and Olympiads. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (or related field) with B.Ed. (mandatory). Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the middle or secondary school level. Strong command of spoken and written English. Knowledge of CBSE curriculum is essential. Skills Required: Excellent subject knowledge and passion for teaching Mathematics. Effective classroom management and student engagement techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to integrate technology in teaching. Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
