Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated TGT Computer Teacher to teach Computer Science/Information Technology to Classes VI–X as per CBSE curriculum and support the school’s digital learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Curriculum Delivery

• Teach Computer Science / ICT to Classes VI–X following CBSE guidelines.
• Cover topics such as programming basics, MS Office, HTML, Python (as per class level), networking basics, and digital tools.
• Conduct practical sessions in the computer lab ensuring hands-on learning.
• Assign classwork, homework, projects, and regular assessments.

2. Lesson Planning & Academic Preparation

• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, project work, and question papers.
• Maintain student performance records and provide timely feedback.
• Identify weak students and provide remedial support or extra help.

3. Lab & Technical Management

• Manage computer lab sessions and ensure proper functioning of systems.
• Coordinate with IT staff for software installation, maintenance, and updates.
• Ensure safe and responsible use of computers and internet.

4. Technology Integration

• Use smart-class tools, multimedia content, and digital teaching techniques.
• Support teachers and students in using educational technology, if required.
• Guide students in technology-based activities, coding tasks, and competitions.

5. School Activities & Professional Responsibilities

• Participate in school events, PTMs, academic meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in organizing IT-related competitions, exhibitions, and clubs.
• Collaborate with the academic team for quality improvement and innovation.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / BCA OR

Any graduation with PGDCA + B.Ed (mandatory as per CBSE norms).

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science / MCA preferred.
• Experience teaching Computer Science to middle and secondary classes.
• Strong knowledge of CBSE ICT curriculum and practical lab handling.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in programming basics (Python/HTML/Java/C++ depending on class needs).
• Good knowledge of MS Office, internet safety, typing skills, and digital tools.
• Strong communication, explanation, and classroom management skills.
• Tech-savvy, patient, and enthusiastic about digital education.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
