Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Loom Operator to join our Webbing Sling Production Department. The role involves operating and maintaining looms to produce high-strength woven webbing used in industrial lifting slings and related products. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in textile weaving operations, attention to quality, and the ability to ensure smooth production with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate textile looms to weave high-strength webbing as per technical specifications.
  • Set up looms (threading, warping, tension adjustment, pattern settings) for production runs.
  • Monitor loom performance and check webbing quality for defects such as loose threads, uneven edges, or weak weaves.
  • Ensure that webbing meets load-bearing and safety standards required for lifting slings.
  • Record production data, machine settings, and any downtime/issues.
  • Conduct routine cleaning, oiling, and minor repairs to ensure loom efficiency.
  • Report major technical issues to maintenance or supervisors promptly.
  • Follow workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized production floor.
  • Support continuous improvement by suggesting process optimizations.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Loom Operator in textile / webbing / sling manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of shuttle, needle, or jacquard looms used in webbing production.
  • Basic mechanical skills for adjusting loom settings and handling minor repairs.
  • Strong attention to detail with focus on durability and safety compliance.
  • Physically fit to handle shift work and machine operations.
  • Minimum education: 10th pass / ITI / Diploma in Textile Technology desirable.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in loom operation and weaving techniques
  • Must know how to operate a High-Speed Needle Loom Machine
  • Ability to conduct fabric/webbing quality inspection for strength, alignment, and durability
  • Skilled in troubleshooting loom issues to minimize downtime
  • Strong time management and productivity focus
  • Safety-conscious and disciplined in following industrial standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
