Job Description

Perform physical textile tests such as tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and flammability.
Conduct chemical tests including colorfastness, water analysis, and dye evaluation.
Analyze fabrics, fibers, and dyes to ensure quality, performance, and safety standards.
Compare test results with specifications and identify defects or inconsistencies.
Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory testing equipment.
Prepare fabric samples, dye solutions, and test specimens for testing.
Document test data accurately and prepare detailed test reports.
Provide technical inputs and support to Production and R&D teams.
Investigate quality issues and assist in resolving production-related problems.
Ensure compliance with ASTM, AATCC, and other relevant textile standards.
Follow safety (HSE) and environmental regulations, including product safety norms.
Maintain proper laboratory records and ensure good housekeeping practices.
