Textile Engineer/ Designer

As a Textile Engineer/Designer, you will play a crucial role in managing the design and development of textile products while collaborating effectively with vendors and stakeholders. Your creative input will be essential in conceptualizing innovative textile products in line with market trends and client requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards for materials, colors, textures, and production techniques. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conceptualizing and designing innovative textile products - Developing and maintaining product samples, mood boards, and design presentations - Ensuring high-quality standards for materials, colors, textures, and production techniques In addition, you will be responsible for: - Identifying, negotiating, and collaborating with vendors - Evaluating vendor performance and maintaining strong relationships - Ensuring cost-effective procurement and production processes Moreover, you will provide creative input for marketing campaigns, product catalogues, and promotional materials. Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to showcase textile solutions and gifting ideas will be an integral part of your role. Conducting market research to identify emerging trends and customer preferences will also be essential. When it comes to gifting solutions, you will design and curate customized textile gifting solutions for corporate and retail clients. Your creative skills will be utilized to create product packaging concepts that enhance the value of gifting offerings. Key Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Design, or a related field - 3 to 5 years of experience in textile design and development - Strong understanding of textile materials, production processes, and quality standards - Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills - Creative flair with knowledge of market trends and consumer preferences - Experience in marketing and gifting solutions is a plus - Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent - Strong project management and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities,
