Test Lead

Job Summary:

Testing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).
  
• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
  
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
  
• Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
  
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  
• Provide clear, concise reports on testing progress and product quality.
  
• Ensure compliance with QA processes and best practices.
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 2–5 years of experience in software testing or QA engineering.
  
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
  
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or Playwright).
  
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  
• Familiarity with API and database testing.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
  

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

• Experience in performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  
• ISTQB or other QA certifications.
  
• Experience with mobile testing (Android/iOS)
