Test Lead - Performance

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Performance Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in performance testing methodologies, scripting, and automation, with a strong grasp of performance engineering principles. This role requires hands-on experience with a variety of performance testing tools and the ability to design, execute, and analyze performance tests across complex systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, or similar. Define and implement performance testing strategies, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.

Collaborate with development, DevOps, and architecture teams to understand system architecture and identify performance bottlenecks. Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous performance validation.

Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Establish and document performance testing patterns, best practices, and reusable frameworks. Mentor junior testers and contribute to the evolution of performance testing standards and processes.

Required Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Groovy) and performance tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Blazemeter).

Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, databases, and web technologies. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana) and log analysis. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.Preferred Skills Experience with cloud-based performance testing (AWS, Azure). Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). ISTQB or equivalent performance testing certification.
