Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Functional:

Should have good knowledge of Azure cloud.
Developing Test plans for cloud backend and data flow between various software applications.
Develop a test plan from change log/ release notes and execute the test plan.
Proficient at developing test automation framework from scratch and should have Idea on Test Automation Framework implementation.
Should have Excellent Knowledge in CICD tools, preferably Jenkins
Must have hands on skills with Automation testing tools (Selenium / Katalon/ Cypress) and SCM such as Git & GitHub.
Proficient in object-oriented programming language (Preferably JAVA or Python)
Should have good knowledge of SQL.
Prepare test setups for various tests in accordance with standards.
Unit/component and Integration level software testing to qualify the robustness of the software.
Build a database of lessons learnt from the execution of software design verification plan (DVP) to improve testing efficiency.
Reporting bugs in a comprehensive manner using bug tracking tools, preferably JIRA.
Experience in change control/version control tool Git Hub.
Working in collaboration with cross-functional teams like Software/ System Intelligence/ Engineering/ Product quality teams to understand hardware and firmware interaction flow within sub systems.
Ability to think critical thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Good communication & presentation skills.

Internal process

Coordinate with development team and project management team to understand the customer requirements and analysis.
Develop and review the test cases.
Reporting bugs and defects on a timely basis and ensure closure of projects.
