Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Automation Engineer with 35 years of experience to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python and Robot Framework for automation, CAN/CAPL scripting for simulation, and a strong background in the Telematics domain. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of telematics systems, including cloud services, telematics units, and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework .
Develop and execute CAN/CAPL scripts for CAN bus simulation and validation.
Perform end-to-end testing of Telematics systems , including cloud platforms, in-vehicle telematics units, and mobile applications.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Utilize JIRA for test case management and defect tracking.
Use GIT for version control and collaboration on test scripts and documentation.
Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and support basic hardware troubleshooting.
Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide detailed reports.

Required Skills Qualifications:

35 years of experience in test automation.
Proficiency in Python and Robot Framework .
Experience with CAN/CAPL scripting for automotive communication protocols.

Strong understanding of the Telematics domain , including:

Cloud-based services
In-vehicle telematics units
CAN communication
Mobile app integration and testing

Familiarity with JIRA and GIT tools.
Basic knowledge of hardware components and debugging.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
