Test Automation Engineer

You are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in automation testing. Your responsibilities will include planning, scripting, and executing various key customer-facing software products. You must have a strong background in Automating Scripts for web-based applications and APIs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders, requiring a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes along with the QA methodology. You should be dedicated, self-motivated, creative, and proactive to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will involve manual and automated software testing in a web-based product development environment. You will be tasked with understanding functional documents, estimating tasks, identifying test scenarios, developing test cases, and conducting release-based Functional and Regression testing. Additionally, you will be responsible for defect reporting, interacting with the development team, participating in client meetings, ensuring adherence to Quality management standards, and providing prompt customer support. To qualify for this position, you need at least 3+ years of experience in manual testing, including a minimum of 2+ years in Automation of web applications. Proficiency in Automation testing tools like QTP/UFT or Selenium is desired. You should have a sound knowledge of STLC, software testing methodologies, and the ability to develop and execute test cases in an application development environment. Hands-on experience in Automation tools like UFT/Selenium and scripting in VBScript or Java would be advantageous. Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude are also essential for this role.,
