Job Description

Experienced Test Automation Architect to work on our challenging market leading concepts, next generation products in India

Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
10+ years
of experience in QA and Test Automation, including:
- 5+ years
  designing or architecting test automation frameworks.
- Strong expertise in
  JavaScript/TypeScript
  , Cucumber BDD, API automation, and CI/CD.
Hands-on experience with
Playwright
, Postman/REST tools.
Strong understanding of:
- Microservices, Kafka
- Kubernetes, Helm, Docker
- Authentication flows (Keycloak preferred)
- SQL and relational databases (Oracle experience is a plus)
Deep experience with Git, branching strategies, and code quality.
Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable test frameworks for complex distributed systems.

Own and evolve the organisation-wide
BDD Cucumber-JavaScript automation framework
for API and integration testing.
Architect scalable automation solutions across API, UI, E2E, performance, and data validation layers.
Integrate AI/ML-based capabilities such as:
- self-healing tests
- intelligent failure analysis
- test case generation
- test optimisation and prioritisation
Lead adoption of industry best practices, emerging tools, and modern testing approaches.
Enhance and maintain automation frameworks using:
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- Cucumber BDD
- Playwright
  for UI automation
- REST API automation toolchain
Build reusable libraries, utilities, and platform components to improve productivity and reliability.
Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines using
Bamboo
.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure automation runs smoothly in:
- Kubernetes
- Helm
- Kafka-based microservices
- Docker
- Keycloak (Auth & Security)
- Oracle and other relational databases
Architect and guide test execution in scalable cloud environments.
Define testing strategy, guidelines, and goverce for all teams.
Partner with Product Owners and Architects to refine acceptance criteria and ensure testability.
Coach and mentor test engineers and developers on automation, quality practices, and architecture.
Perform architecture reviews, code reviews, and quality audits.
Influence organisational QA vision, roadmap, and future capabilities.
Lead cross-team technical initiatives, POCs, and framework modernisation projects.
Work closely with development teams to implement shift-left quality practices.
Ensure automation supports fast feedback cycles for CI/CD and DevOps.
Support release validation, production readiness, and troubleshooting complex issues.
