SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

We are looking for a skilled SDET to design and execute test strategies, develop

automated test solutions, and ensure high-quality software delivery. The role

involves both manual and automation testing across web applications, APIs, and

databases.

Role & responsibilities

• Create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks

• Automate test cases using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and

Cypress

• Write and execute test scripts using PyTest

• Validate backend data using SQL queries

• Manage test execution, defects, and reporting using TestRail

• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Ensure quality standards and best testing practices are followed

Required Skills

• Strong experience in test planning and test case design

• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools:

• Selenium
• Playwright
• Cypress

• Experience with PyTest or similar testing frameworks

• Good knowledge of SQL for data validation

• Experience using TestRail or similar test management tools

• Understanding of QA processes, SDLC, and STLC

• Experience testing web applications and APIs

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with performance or security testing tools

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

• Programming experience in Python or JavaScript

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams

Education
