Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the role of Territory Manager in the Pre-Owned and Commercial Vehicles sector. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the used vehicle business, strong relationships with dealers, and a proven track record in team management and business development. The role requires a strategic mindset to manage the market, build relationships, and drive business growth in the assigned area. Role & responsibilities Used Vehicle Business Management: Utilize sound knowledge of the pre-owned car and commercial vehicle industry to drive business growth. Manage and oversee the used vehicle business, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Develop strategies to enhance market presence and business generation in the assigned territory. RC Limit Process & Policy Management: Ensure a thorough understanding and implementation of the RC limit process and policy. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and compliant processing of RC limits. Market and Dealer Network Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of the assigned market and its dynamics. Build and sustain relationships with key used vehicle dealers within the assigned area. Ensure that dealer networks are effectively managed and expanded as necessary. Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with freelancers to support business generation efforts. Cultivate positive rapport with major banks and NBFCs (Non-Banking Financial Companies) to facilitate file logins and disbursements. Serve as the primary point of contact for dealers and financial institutions, ensuring a seamless flow of communication and transactions. Team Leadership and Support: Lead, manage, and support a team of professionals to achieve business targets. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, ensuring a high level of performance and job satisfaction. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of business activities. Previous Leadership Experience: Leverage previous leadership experience to drive team performance and business results. Ensure that all team members are aligned with the company's vision and objectives. Set clear goals, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions as needed. Preferred candidate profile Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Arts (B.A.). Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience, with 3 to 5 years in the used vehicle business. Leadership: Prior experience in a leadership role is required. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the pre-owned vehicle and commercial vehicle sectors. Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with dealers, freelancers, banks, and NBFCs. Team Management: Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting teams effectively.
