Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a 5 years of proactive and target-driven Territory Sales Executive to expand our market presence in the welding consumables segment, particularly welding electrodes, Bearing manufacturers or any mechanical industries within the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector. The role demands in-depth product knowledge, technical sales skills, and the ability to develop strong customer relationships in the manufacturing and fabrication industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Identify, approach, and convert potential SME customers in sectors like fabrication, heavy machinery, infrastructure, and automotive.
  • Promote and sell welding electrodes and related products.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans and strategies.
  • Technical Product Promotion:
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers on welding electrode selection based on application and material compatibility.
  • Conduct product demos and trials at customer locations.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build long-term relationships with purchase managers, workshop heads, and fabrication leads.
  • Gather customer feedback and provide solutions for product or service improvements.
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends in the welding segment.
  • Identify new business opportunities and customer segments.
  • Sales Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales performance, customer visits, and new leads.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM or sales tracking tools.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1–3 years in B2B sales, preferably in welding consumables or industrial products.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of welding electrodes and welding processes (SMAW, TIG, MIG).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Preferred Background:

  • Previous experience with welding consumable manufacturers or distributors.
  • Familiarity with industries such as fabrication, shipbuilding, or construction.
  • Local language proficiency is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Competitive fixed salary + performance-based incentives.
  • Travel allowance, mobile reimbursement, and other benefits as per company policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,823.91 - ₹40,266.33 per month
