Job Description

As a Territory Business Manager at our company located in HSR Layout, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing our field sales operations. With 5-7 years of experience in direct sales within the IT hardware, software, or services industry and a proven track record, you will play a crucial role in driving sales strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and building strong customer relationships. Your strategic leadership and hands-on sales execution will be essential in achieving and exceeding territory revenue goals. Your key responsibilities will include team building and leadership, where you will recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team. You will create a collaborative and results-driven environment through coaching, mentorship, and regular feedback. Setting clear team goals aligned with company objectives will be crucial for success. In terms of sales strategy and execution, you will develop and implement tailored sales strategies for the assigned territory. Collaboration with the marketing team to design and execute targeted campaigns for lead generation and brand awareness will be a key aspect of your role. Effective follow-up and conversion of leads from marketing initiatives will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will actively engage in direct sales activities such as prospecting, client meetings, and deal closures. Maintaining a personal sales pipeline and meeting individual sales targets alongside team objectives will be important for driving success. Your collaboration with technical and pre-sales teams will ensure that customer requirements are understood and met. Working on proposals, presentations, and demonstrations tailored to client needs and addressing technical issues or objections during the sales process will lead to a seamless client experience. Introducing and implementing new sales initiatives and processes to enhance efficiency, leveraging industry trends and best practices for innovative customer engagement strategies, and contributing to the development of sales tools, resources, and training programs will be critical for success in this role. Monitoring and analyzing individual and team sales performance metrics, conducting regular performance reviews, setting actionable goals, and strategizing for continuous improvement will be part of your performance management responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you must have a proven track record in sales leadership within the IT hardware/software/services industry, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in English and Hindi, and 5-7 years of direct sales experience with excellent performance metrics.
