Tender Quotation Specialist

Role Overview: You will be the tendering authority for all tenders with medium to high complexity. Your main responsibilities will include creating and completing bids/estimations/quotations based on end customer specifications or requirements in close collaboration with the Operating Units Tendering team. You will coordinate with various stakeholders such as Engineering Leads, Project Managers, SCM, end customers, consultants, Contracts & Legal team, HSE & Quality, etc. You should also be able to approach the e-mobility offerings from both Product Perspective & Systems Perspectives. Key Responsibilities: - Take complete responsibility for preparing tenders from the IN Operation Center with inputs from different stakeholders in-line with LOM Tendering process - Understand the Sales process, Sales tools & techniques, Market & Business Intelligence, and support sales strategy & capture team selling - Assess pre-qualification requirements and support Sales team for Bid/No Bid decision - Review Tender Solution Strategy and target pricing in discussion with Operating units - Understand Single line diagrams & Equipment arrangement layouts and review proposals for optimized solutions - Verify technical data sheets of primary equipment with minimal support from Engineering team - Collaborate with SCM for vendor offer evaluations and finalize tender sourcing plan - Analyze risk probability & severity of tenders and drive mitigation strategy - Review Cash flow documents and ensure compliance with applicable regulations - Take complete responsibility for documentation as per client requirements Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in engineering with 8 to 10 years of experience in substation tendering and project engineering activities - Experience in preparing and supporting Bid Process with knowledge of Hitachi Energy Products & System offerings - Ability to work independently with in-depth knowledge in a specific area - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in both spoken & written English language (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description),
