The Telugu Teacher is responsible for teaching Telugu language, literature, and culture to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring students develop strong reading, writing, and communication skills in Telugu

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Telugu lessons for assigned grade levels Teach reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and conversational Telugu Introduce students to Telugu literature, poetry, stories, and cultural heritage Design age-appropriate learning materials, worksheets, and assessments Evaluate and track student progress; provide feedback and support where needed Maintain classroom discipline and create an encouraging learning atmosphere Organize and participate in school events, including Telugu Day, cultural programs, and competitions Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development Ensure adherence to school policies, curriculum standards, and academic guidelines

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor s or master s degree in Telugu, Language Studies, or a related field BEd or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred) Prior teaching experience in a school environment (desirable) Strong proficiency in spoken and written Telugu Ability to use teaching aids, digital tools, and interactive methods
