Job Description

You are a skilled and motivated Field Installation & Integration Engineer with a strong background in telecommunications and virtualized environments. Your main responsibility will be to support the deployment and integration of advanced telecom software solutions, ensuring successful installation, configuration, testing, and handover of telecom infrastructure and applications. You will collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project implementation and deployment plans, prepare low-level design documents, and define system configuration requirements. Your tasks will also include installing and configuring Operating Systems, layered software products, and telecom application stacks on customer environments, as well as participating in customer acceptance testing and managing technical support tickets. Additionally, you will maintain customer profiles in Salesforce and troubleshoot complex software and system issues onsite or remotely, contributing to continuous improvement efforts in project delivery processes. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience. You must possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications network implementation and support, along with proven technical expertise with telecom products like DNS/ENUM, NP, CRE, SRP, STP, HSS/HLR. A solid understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware, KVM, and OpenStack is essential, as well as proficiency in Linux-based environments. Moreover, you should have at least 3 years of direct Tier 2+ customer-facing support or integration experience in a telecom or IT vendor environment, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills for handling remote customer interactions. Preferred skills for this role include familiarity with telecom test plans and customer acceptance processes, experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for project and customer tracking, and exposure to Agile methodologies or telecom deployment frameworks. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers health insurance, paid sick time, and provident fund benefits. The work schedule involves Monday to Friday night shifts during US hours, with additional performance and yearly bonuses. The work location is in person.,
