About The Opportunity

A role in the private healthcare / outpatient clinic sector focused on patient outreach, appointment coordination and service communication across India. This on-site position supports front-line operations by converting leads, managing patient interactions over the phone, and ensuring timely bookings for clinical services.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Make high-quality outbound and handle inbound calls to prospective and existing patients to schedule appointments, follow-ups, and teleconsultations.
  • Qualify leads, explain clinic services and price points clearly, overcome objections, and close appointment bookings to meet daily/weekly targets.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM: log call notes, update patient details, schedule reminders, and track conversion metrics.
  • Collaborate with front-desk, clinical teams and doctors to confirm appointment availability and ensure smooth patient handoffs on arrival.
  • Follow approved call scripts, escalate clinical queries to the relevant team, and ensure compliance with patient-data confidentiality and clinic policies.
  • Achieve and report against KPIs (calls per hour, conversion rate, appointments/day) and participate in coaching to improve performance.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
  • 1+ year experience in telecalling / telesales / inside sales or customer-facing telephonic roles (healthcare experience preferred).
  • Clear spoken English and Hindi; proficiency in a regional language is an advantage for local outreach.
  • Strong phone etiquette, persuasive communication, objection-handling and basic computer/CRM skills.

Preferred

  • Prior experience working with clinic/hospital appointment systems or healthcare CRM (Zoho, Practo, etc.).
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding telecalling KPIs, familiarity with call scripting and lead-nurturing workflows.
