Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Steel Modeler with strong expertise in Tekla Structures to join our Ahmedabad team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and reviewing 3D steel models and associated deliverables while ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed 3D Tekla Structures models for structural and miscellaneous steel projects.
• Generate and check GA drawings, shop drawings, and erection drawings with precision and adherence to design requirements.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of AISC (USA) and AS/NZS (Australia) standards throughout all modeling and detailing activities.
• Review models and drawings for accuracy, constructability, and coordination with other disciplines.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, engineers, architects, and external clients to ensure timely project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior modelers and ensure quality across deliverables.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and adherence to timelines.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in structural steel modeling.
• Software Expertise: Proficiency in Tekla Structures (mandatory).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication, erection processes, and connection detailing.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to lead by example and maintain high professional standards.
