Open Roles: Steel Detailer / Tekla Modeler

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update 3D BIM models of structural steel projects.
• Interpret and coordinate with architectural and structural drawings.
• Support shop and erection drawing extraction in collaboration with detailers.
• Ensure models are clash-free, accurate, and compliant with project standards.
• Conduct quality checks to maintain accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, fabricators, and contractors.
• Maintain proper documentation and revisions for projects.
• (Senior Role) Lead modeling workflows, perform model-based QTOs, review junior team’s work, and handle client coordination.
• (Junior Role) Work under guidance of senior modelers and steadily build expertise in USA & Australia codes.

Qualifications and Skills

Junior Steel Modeler

• 1–2 years of experience in steel or BIM modeling.
• Proficiency in Tekla Structures, software.
• Basic understanding of steel structures and connections.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn international standards.
• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering. preferred.

Senior Steel Modeler

• 4–6 years of experience in steel modeling.
• Expertise in Tekla Structures (mandatory),
• Proven knowledge of USA (AISC) and Australia (AS/NZS) standards.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication, erection methods, and connections.
• Ability to mentor juniors, manage multiple projects, and coordinate with clients.
• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
