Tekla Modeler / CAD Structural Designer (Steel)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tekla Modeller / CAD Designer to contribute to our steel structure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and detailed 3D models of steel structures, including PEBs and Space Frame Structures, using Tekla Structures.
• Generate comprehensive 2D fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and general arrangement drawings from Tekla models and/or directly in AutoCAD.
• Ensure all models and drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and relevant building codes.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure design intent and constructability are met.
• Perform clash detection and resolve any modeling or detailing issues.
• Prepare material lists (BOMs), weight estimations and other necessary reports from Tekla models.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Assist in reviewing and checking drawings produced by other team members.
• Continuously learn and apply new software features and industry best practices to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Tekla Structures Modelling for steel structures.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in AutoCAD, specifically for drafting and detailing.
• Proficiency in creating, modifying, and managing 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Strong understanding of steel detailing principles, connections, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Advantageous Skills (Optional but Preferred):

• Experience in steel structure designing (conceptual and/or detailed design) using AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of relevant Indian and international building codes for steel structures.
• Experience with other structural analysis or design software.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
