Job Description

Structural Steel Checkers

Key Responsibilities:

Check and review
Single Part, Shop, GA, and Erection drawings
, including related
reports and NC files
.
Prepare, review, and maintain
RFIs
and
drawing logs
.
Coordinate with
Modelers and Editors
to identify and finalize RFIs.
Mark
revision clouds
and ensure accurate drawing updates.
Guide and mentor
Tekla Modelers
to achieve project and quality requirements.
Ensure projects are completed within
target timelines
with high service quality.
Handle
commercial and industrial structural steel projects
.
Follow and enforce
QA/QC procedures
.
Ensure drawings are
clear, accurate, and legible
.
Track and update
hold items
in a timely manner.
Take ownership of assigned projects along with the
Team Lead / Project Manager
.
Coordinate with internal teams and raise technical queries as required.

Desired Candidate Profile:

BE / B.Tech / Diploma
in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
2-8 years
of experience in
Structural Steel Detailing
using 3D modeling software.
Hands-on experience in
Tekla Structures
.
Strong knowledge of
AISC & CISC standards
(minimum 3 years).
Recent AISC/CISC experience (within the last 1 year)
is required.
Good
written and verbal communication skills
