Job Description

Key Responsibilities Conduct digitization needs assessments across tax, bookkeeping, audit, and financial reporting teams. Work closely with partners to document requirements and draft Business Requirement Documents (BRDs). Lead make-or-buy analysis for software tools, including cost-benefit evaluations. Manage third-party software vendors or internal developers for larger tool development. Ability to independently develop low-code/no-code tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Airtable). Build small to mid-scale automation scripts or apps in Python, PHP, or JavaScript where needed. Ensure quality control, versioning, documentation, and deployment standards are followed. Drive user training and change management in roll-outs. Qualifications & Skills Must-Have: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent. 47 years of work experience in software development, with at least 2 years in project/team leadership. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and project management principles. Hands-on experience with low-code platforms like Microsoft Power Platforms, etc.. Good programming knowledge in Python, PHP, or JavaScript. Exposure to REST APIs, database design, and data automation. Strong business analysis skills and experience preparing functional specs/BRDs. Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with non-technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of Gen AI and ability to lead development of AI applications.
