Aster Medcity is looking for Technician.Operation to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures by ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting the surgical team
If you have a strong background in operating theatre procedures, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety, we invite you to apply
Responsibilities:Equipment Setup and Maintenance:Prepare the operation theatre by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
Ensure all medical devices and equipment are in working order and properly sterilized
Perform routine maintenance on surgical equipment and report any malfunctions
Sterile Environment Management:Implement strict aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment in the operation theatre
Sterilize and organize surgical instruments and supplies according to established protocols
Monitor and enforce infection control measures to prevent the spread of infections
Patient Preparation:Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery
Ensure proper patient identification and verify the surgical procedure to be performed
Collaborate with nursing staff to address patient needs and concerns
Assistance During Surgery:Provide surgical instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical team as needed
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond promptly to requests
Assist with wound closure and apply dressings as directed
Emergency Response:Be prepared to respond to emergencies and provide immediate assistance during critical situations
Familiarize yourself with emergency protocols and evacuation procedures
Documentation:Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including instrument counts and patient details
Document any issues or deviations from standard procedures during surgery
Collaboration:Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in the operation theatre
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
