Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technician to join our innovative team. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and modify automated processes.
• Conduct electrical work including wiring, circuit testing with ohmmeters, and electrical system diagnostics to ensure safety and compliance.
• Execute welding tasks for equipment fabrication or repair projects, adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain facility infrastructure through general facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, HVAC checks, and lighting repairs.
• Support manufacturing operations by ensuring machinery runs smoothly, minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance strategies.
• Assist with residential painting projects as needed to support facility upgrades or aesthetic improvements.
• Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
• Supervise or assist in supervising team members during maintenance activities, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety and quality.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.
• Lead small teams or projects related to maintenance or facility upgrades, demonstrating leadership skills and supervising experience.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components used in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Proficiency with schematics reading and interpretation for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control systems.
• Skilled in welding techniques suitable for repair or fabrication tasks.
• Electrical experience including wiring, circuit testing with ohmmeters, and troubleshooting electrical faults.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices such as HVAC systems, plumbing, lighting, and general building upkeep.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics clearly.
• Good command of the English language for effective communication within diverse teams.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to address internal stakeholders’ needs efficiently.
• Leadership capabilities demonstrated through supervising or mentoring team members on maintenance projects.
