Position description:

To identify and develop local vendors for spares and service support for the equipment such as Reactor, GLR, Heat Exchanges, Vacuum systems, pumps, Air compressor, DG srt, Chilling system, Brine system etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic:

• To assist project and construction team to provide required support to refurbish/repair equipment.

Operational:

• Focus & Action on Last Shift Pending issue
• To carry out routine maintenance work.
• Regular Maintenance. activity related to product changeover
• Pipeline & Hose connection activity
• To sustain 5S and TPM activity in workshop area.
• To report unsafe activities/ unsafe conditions to superiors
• To report any abnormality of equipment for predictive maintenance
• Marking and cutting of nonstandard size gaskets
• To ensure work area housekeeping after completion of job
• Chlorine, Ammonia toner changing work.
• Pipeline strainers, filters cleaning
• Focus & Action on Major Breakdown
• To carry out plant round(in designated focus area) to ensure smooth running of equipments.
• Preventive Maintenance of Equipments
• In-house repairing of graphite equipment
• In-house repairing of damaged graphite blocks
• Repairing of glass lined equipment.
• To report unsafe activities/ unsafe conditions to superiors
• To report any abnormality of equipment for predictive maintenance
• Marking and cutting of non-standard size gaskets
• To sustain 5S and TPM activity in workshop area.
• To ensure work area housekeeping after completion of job
• SRV calibration work

• Knowledge of operations & maintenance of plant equipments such as MSGL Reactor, SS Reactor, Vacuum System, Centrifuge, ANF, Dryer, Centrifugal Pump, Metering Pumps, Air Blower, Heat Exchanger, Distillation Column, WHR System, MEE etc..
• Knowledge of SAP-PM Module.

Please note - Candidates should either be pursuing or willing to pursue a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
