As a technical writer, you will be primarily responsible for creating and maintaining all product-related documentation such as release notes, user guides, API documentation, that helps customers get the most out of the product. You will be an integral part of the Product Management team working closely with product managers, engineers, and the user experience team in an Agile development environment. You must work on presenting technical content in a creative, lucid, user-friendly manner to the readers, keen on software technology, and understand how your work contributes to the overall success of the product.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is self-driven, highly motivated about content, its presentation and its impact. The candidate would be a creative content creator, with excellent people skills, who knows what customers need, someone who is not afraid of complex technologies and has a passion for writing and formatting to produce premium documentation. The ideal candidate shall be self-directed, passionate about technology, produce high-quality documentation, and understand how your work contributes to the overall success of the product.

Responsibilities

Qualifications/Criteria's

Responsible for creating and maintaining easy to understand, well-presented and appropriately illustrated technical content for the Finxera products including API guides, user guides, product release notes and product training material.
Create Finxera Release Notes in a timely fashion for use by customers and employees and conduct webinars and presentations as required.
Work closely with Product Management, Development, Customer Support and Internal customers to review product functional specifications, QA documentation and test product releases to fully grasp and create product feature documents.
Contribute to and help maintain content preparation and webinars/ presentation for the training team including presentations, training content, training delivery and assignments/ reading material.
Follow all the technical writing processes, tools and standards laid down by the team. Must adhere to excellent technical writing standards and be available to peer review technical documents for grammar, content and style of writing for other technical writers on the team.
Adhere to all Company security policies, standards and procedures in the performance of job duties.

**Should have scored 75% & above in 10th and 12th grade.
A Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Commerce or equivalent. Post-Graduation MBA will be an added advantage.
Ability to understand software products and document release notes, API guides and user guides
Ability to learn quickly and independently, strong team player
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work constructively with developers, QA, Project managers and Management towards a common goal
High motivation and desire to do whatever it takes to help the customer and our company succeed.
