Technical Writer Trainee (Fresher)

Job Objective:

JiBe is a cloud based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry. Our goal is to allow shipping companies to improve productivity, efficiency and safety levels, while reducing costs. JiBe ERP enables increased automation and streamlining of processes, creating pre-defined work flows and reducing the usage of email and paper.

Job Responsibilities:

Tech writing: Prepare, review, revise and maintain technical documents, including software and systems engineering, release notes, company procedures, system operations, help materials and user documentation.

Analyze existing and potential content and identify necessary updates.

Produce high-quality technical documentation with minimal support

Develop tutorials that align to common customer use cases

Gather information through product specification docs, interviews and product demos, and product exploration.

Should have a knack to understand complex use cases and technology and produce a simple explanation for them.

Coordinate with various stakeholders and work closely with them to produce high-quality customer-facing documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

0-1years of experience in technical writing.

Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism or Engineering.

Understanding of the video tool (e.g. Blender and Microsoft Clipchamp)

Familiarity with creating demo videos, product guides and visuals/ diagrams for technical support content.

Proven working experience in developing technical documentation for software products.

Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them in a simple way.

Highly organized with Careful attention to detail.
