Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Create clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation for mechanical products, systems, and processes.
Develop user manuals, installation guides, maintenance documents, SOPs, service guides, and engineering reports.
Translate complex mechanical engineering concepts into simple language suitable for varied audiences.
Work closely with engineers, product managers, and QA teams to gather and verify technical data.
Prepare 2D/3D-based illustrations, exploded views, and diagrams using CAD models and engineering drawings.
Ensure documents comply with ASME, ISO, IEC, and internal standards.
Manage documentation updates, version control, and repositories (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, PLM systems).
Participate in design reviews, testing sessions, and incorporate feedback to improve documentation quality.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Communication, or related field
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and engineering terminology
Excellent technical writing and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD data
Proficiency in tools like MS Office, Adobe FrameMaker, MS Visio, SolidWorks Composer, or Creo Illustrate
Strong attention to detail, formatting, and documentation standards

Location - Mumbai, Delhi / NCR, Bengaluru , Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Remote(WFH)
