About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team. This is a remote role, best suited for someone who thrives in an independent work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documentation. This includes creating and maintaining user manuals, internal knowledge base articles, tutorials, and API documentation for a diverse audience. Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and rigorously maintain clear, concise, and user-friendly knowledge base articles, FAQs, and comprehensive product documentation to support external users.
- Act as the critical bridge between technical development and the end-user by translating complex technical concepts and processes into simple, easy-to-follow, and action-oriented instructions for a global audience.
- Proactively collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Support Teams throughout the development cycle to gather necessary information, validate technical accuracy, and ensure documentation is delivered on time for product releases.
- Uphold documentation integrity by performing detailed editing, updating, and standardization of all content to maintain a consistent voice, tone, and style across the entire resource library.
- Establish a feedback loop to continuously improve content quality based on key performance indicators (KPIs), including user feedback, search analytics, and support ticket data, aiming to reduce support volume.
- Manage and organize documentation assets within our knowledge base platform, ensuring effective indexing, searchability, and version control for all published materials.
- Successfully manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain high productivity in a remote and independent work environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably for SaaS platforms or eLearning solutions.
- Exceptional English writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to break down complex processes into step-by-step guides.
- Familiarity with knowledge base tools, content management systems, and SEO best practices.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with eLearning, instructional design, or educational technology.
- Basic understanding of graphics/screenshots/video tutorials for documentation.
