Bellatrix Aerospace is an advanced propulsion and space-technology company committed to building efficient, scalable, and sustainable solutions for the next generation of space missions. We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer who can translate complex engineering concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation.

𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄

The Technical Writer will work closely with our engineering, product, and operations teams to develop high-quality technical documents, manuals, specifications, and content that enable internal teams, partners, and customers to understand and use our systems effectively. The ideal candidate has strong technical communication skills, hands-on experience in technical writing, and formal training from a reputed technical writing institute.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation including user manuals, engineering specifications, SOPs, installation guides, release notes, and whitepapers.

• Work cross-functionally with engineers, scientists, and product teams to gather information and ensure accuracy.

• Translate highly technical information related to propulsion systems, spacecraft subsystems, and software tools into clear, concise language.

• Develop standardized documentation templates and ensure consistency across all technical content.

• Review and revise documents for clarity, grammar, completeness, and compliance with internal and industry standards.

• Manage version control and documentation workflows.

• Contribute to knowledge-base content, internal documentation, and training materials.

• Ensure all documentation adheres to Bellatrix Aerospace’s quality, confidentiality, and security guidelines.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MSc.Physics, Technical Communication, or a related field.

• Proven experience (2–5 years preferred) as a Technical Writer in technology, aerospace, engineering, or related domains.

• Strong understanding of technical writing conventions, documentation lifecycles, and content structuring.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to understand and simplify complex technical concepts.

• Proficiency with documentation tools such as MS Office, Confluence, MadCap Flare, LaTeX, or similar.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• Certification or formal training from a recognized Technical Writing Institute (e.g., Technical Writing programs from STC-recognized institutes, NIIT, or equivalent).

• Experience working in aerospace, defense, R&D, or high-technology environments.

• Familiarity with propulsion systems, electronics, avionics, or space-system engineering concepts.

• Knowledge of version control tools (Git, SVN) and collaborative development environments.

• Experience with illustration tools for technical diagrams (Visio, Illustrator, SolidWorks Composer, etc.).
