We are looking for a passionate and articulate English or Communications major to join our team as a Technical Writer Intern. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of technical communication. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to transform complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading user manuals, how-to guides, and online help articles.
• Work with senior technical writers to understand documentation standards and style guides.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (e.g., software engineers, product managers) to gather information.
• Help organize and maintain existing documentation in our content repository.
• Test tutorials and procedures to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Suggest improvements to content, structure, and style for better user understanding.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree program in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A strong desire to learn about technology and technical writing.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

• A curiosity about software, technology, or the tech industry.
• Basic familiarity with any documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Confluence, or a basic markup language like Markdown).
• Strong research and analytical skills.
