Role Description

As an Academic Content Writer, your primary responsibility is to produce well-researched, scholarly content tailored to educational audiences. You will create academic materials, including essays, research papers, lesson plans, and educational resources, while adhering to academic standards and guidelines. Collaboration with educators, subject matter experts, and instructional designers may be required to ensure the content meets educational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Properly citing and referencing sources using appropriate academic citation styles like APA, MLA, or Chicago to maintain academic integrity.
• Conducting thorough research using credible sources to gather relevant information on assigned academic topics.
• Writing high-quality academic content such as essays, research papers, study guides, course materials, and articles, adhering to academic standards and formats.
• Editing and proofreading content to ensure clarity, coherence, accuracy, proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
• Revising content based on feedback from clients, editors, or academic reviewers.
• Staying up-to-date with developments in the relevant academic field and educational trends to keep content current.
• Managing project deadlines and organizing content logically to effectively communicate ideas.
• Ensuring content is free of plagiarism and complies with ethical standards of research and publishing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and Master degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, English, or a subject-specific field).
• Previous experience as an Academic Content Writer or a strong academic writing portfolio.
• Knowledge of educational theories and practices.
• Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to understand customer needs and articulate product or service benefits effectively.
