About the Team

About the Role

As a Technical Trainer in the Workday Product Developer Academy, youll play a key role in empowering Workdays engineering community. Youll design and deliver engaging technical training programs that equip our developers with the skills they need to build innovative applications using Workdays proprietary object-oriented programming language.

This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where youll have the opportunity to:

• Design and deliver impactful training: Lead in-person and virtual classes, workshops, and labs that cover a range of technical topics.

About You

Youre a passionate and driven technical trainer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Youre not only a coding expert but also an exceptional communicator who can break down complex concepts for a diverse audience. Youre data-driven and results-oriented, always seeking ways to measure the impact of your work and improve the learning experience. You enjoy building relationships and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. Youre adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity, able to navigate evolving priorities and embrace new challenges with enthusiasm.

• BS in Computer Science or other engineering degree

• 7+ years of object-oriented programming experience

• 2+ years of experience designing, building, and delivering training to a large technical audience

• Learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training

• Lead discussions and actively influence development of new strategies to improve course offerings

• Knowledge of Agile development methodology

• Passion for learning, teaching, and mastering sophisticated system functionality

• Have the drive to independently lead projects and execute with emphasis on quality

• Ability to travel to other Workday locations for training
