Technical Textiles Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Textiles Designer located in Ahmedabad. The Technical Textiles Designer will be responsible for creating and developing embroidery designs, textile prints, and graphics. The designer will work closely with the team to ensure that designs meet client specifications and industry standards. Daily tasks will include sketching, creating prototypes, selecting materials, and collaborating with other designers and production staff.

• Skilled in Embroidery and Textile Prints
• Experience with Textiles and Textile Design
• Proficiency in Graphics and Graphic Design
• Strong artistic and creative abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and precision
• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or related field
• Prior experience in the textile industry is an advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Textiles Designer to analyze design and develop products as per customer /marketing requirement. The ideal candidate will combine design aesthetics with technical knowledge to create design feasible for bulk production.

Key Responsibilities:

o Design Analysis

·    Issuing Technical Specification sheet/master card  for Bulk production & Yardages

o  First piece checking of bulk.

o Communicate & Collaborate with cross-functional teams dyeing /process /marketing or related person to ensure desired quality

o  Basic knowledge of fiber yarn & fabric

o  Working knowledge of dyeing , weaving processing & QA and good eye for shades

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textile Design, Textile Technology, or related field.

 5–8 years of experience in technical textile design preferred.

Strong understanding of fabric construction, fiber properties, and textile finishing.

• Proficiency in design software TEXCAD
