Technical Solution Consultant Manager, Google Play

Role Overview: As a Technical Solution Consultant (TSC) Lead at Google Play, you will be responsible for leading a team of TSCs to provide top developers with escalation support and consultation for projects. Your role will involve working closely with developers to drive the adoption of high-quality Play features. Additionally, you will establish the TSC team as experts in developer-facing products and APIs, identifying opportunities for Google and developers to create better products for users. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of TSCs to provide top developers with escalation support and consultation for projects. - Work with developers to drive the adoption of high-quality Play features. - Establish the TSC team as experts in developer-facing products and APIs. - Identify opportunities for Google and developers to create better products for users. - Work with external developers to generate insights, create written guidance, write example code, author blog posts, design APIs, propose product changes, influence engineering plans, discover developer stories, and inspire developers. - Develop an understanding of Google Play's products/solutions and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for developer-reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis. - Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, partnership, and customer organizations to resolve technical integration obstacles. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. - 7 years of experience in solution engineering or architecture and 5 years of experience in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting. - 5 years of experience in people management. - 3 years of experience in system architecture and reading code. - Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields. - Preferred: Experience supporting and engaging with external customers and working with engineers outside your organization. - Preferred: Experience in Building for Android. - Preferred: Experience working with developers/developer communities.,
