About the role

As a Technical Services Field Engineer at Firebolt, you will be a critical link between our innovative cloud data warehouse technology and our customers' business needs. In this role, you'll work closely with our Field Engineers to drive the success of proof of concept (POC) initiatives for both customers and prospects. Your expertise will be instrumental in showcasing Firebolt's capabilities and ensuring a smooth implementation process.

About the day to day

• Collaborate closely with Firebolt Field Engineers to provide technical support
• Serve as an escalation point for complex technical challenges, offering expert assistance and problem-solving
• Assist in the technical aspects of POCs, ensuring a seamless experience and successful outcomes
• Contribute to a comprehensive repository of queries, code snippets, and best practices
• Become a Firebolt expert while continuously staying informed about industry trends in data warehousing, data analytics, AI, and the broader ecosystem

Requirements

• Technical experience in data-related markets
• Experience with database/data warehouse implementation
• Ability to deliver complex topics in concise written communications
• Deep understanding of SQL and relational database systems
• Experience with analytic use cases, ETL workflows, and BI tools
• Hands-on experience with APIs and/or SDK
• Working understanding of the AI ecosystem and experience leveraging AI tools in a professional setting
