Technical Security Engineer

As a Technical Security Engineer, you will be responsible for enabling client to seamlessly secure their environments through the delivery of innovative security solutions.

Responsibilities Include

• Communicate effectively at multiple levels of management, building trust across the organization, and demonstrating discretion with sensitive information
• Identify and drive continuous process improvements at unprecedented scale
• Demonstrate and promote security best practices and influence others to do the same

What you will do:

• Access control and CCTV projects. Deployment of access control and CCTV within client spaces, working with Global Real Estate (GRE), Security contractor and vendors to ensure space is secure, operational and installed to standards.
• Regular check, and review of existing CCTV systems, Playback, updates, image quality. Preventive maintenance.
• Overall management of the Openpath system configuration which include, hardware configuration, site specific configuration, user access level setup and administration testing and verification.
• Daily check of access control systems, online and operational with the Openpath portal.
• Work with Client NOC on OP outages and assist in resolving.
• Support and Interaction with associates and RE, supporting the OP platform on user mobile applications. Assisting the helpdesk and associates with mobile application setup.
• Support and Interaction with Client networking team, request of IP switch port configuration for CCTV and Access control systems. Fault find and problem solving security equipment offline and correct IP configuration for setup.
• Research and development of the security technology currently available and incorporating this into Client security.
• Regular audit of security vendor installation, ensuring systems are installed to standards outlined.
• Participate weekly call with global security vendors, relating to projects, service and repair and AOB.
• Update and complete configuration paperwork for each site, including manuals, loading sheets and drawings.
• Provide training on some occasions to local operators on the use of Openpath and future systems relating to security.
