Technical Sales Manager - Paperboard

You are a dynamic and experienced Techno Commercial Printing and Packaging expert sought to join our team, focusing on the paperboard for printing and packaging sector. Your role will involve a blend of technical expertise in printing and packaging, exceptional customer service skills, and a proven track record in business development. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, addressing complaints and claims, troubleshooting technical issues, and driving business growth. Your main responsibilities will include providing hands-on technical support related to paperboard products, troubleshooting issues related to printing and packaging operations, offering expert advice on the selection and application of paperboard materials, and optimizing customer outcomes. Moreover, you will address and resolve customer complaints and claims promptly, implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence of issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will also conduct product demonstrations and presentations to customers, prepare detailed technical proposals, and actively participate in new product development to support the Product Manager and mill operations. In addition, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the paperboard industry, understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions leveraging your technical expertise, analyze market trends, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape, and prepare regular reports on product performance, customer feedback, and market conditions. Furthermore, you will identify customers" challenges, pain points, and expectations, pursue new business opportunities to drive growth in the paperboard sector, and collaborate with Sales teams to create strategies for market expansion. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology/Diploma in Printing technology/Bachelor's Degree in Packaging technology, have a minimum of 10 years of experience in printing and packaging operations, with additional sales experience being advantageous. Hands-on experience with paperboard Printing and Packaging (Offset) production and processes is highly desirable. You should possess strong technical knowledge of paperboard, inks, printing processes, and packaging solutions, excellent problem-solving skills, experience in new product development and alternate packaging solutions, a proven track record in business development, exceptional customer service skills, strong communication and presentation skills, ability to work collaboratively across teams, and manage multiple priorities. Knowledge in paper and board products will be an advantage, and willingness to travel as needed is required to meet with customers, spend time in mills with the operations team, and attend industry events. Proficiency in communication and presentation skills is also essential for this role.,
